The importance of video in the digital age, accelerated and ever-changing, remains fundamental to conveying messages, communicating values, or telling stories, ideas, or products.

For more than ten years, we have used storytelling and creativity in video productions to generate emotional connections and build marketing experiences that effectively convey a company’s character and messages.

For this reason, we dedicated an entire division to the creation of videos; a staff of professionals, consisting of videomakers, art directors, photo directors, audio & visual designers, screen & copywriters. Since 2008 we have produced several formats: feature films, various minor films and documentaries, web series, commercials, educational videos, business tutorials, typography, videomapping.

Different formats for different purposes: for some productions scalability is an essential feature at this time, the strength of a video also lies in the possibility of being reused in different contexts and shared in different platforms.

CREATIVITY TO ENGAGE AND COMMUNICATE

Some productions aim to transmit information and data. For this type we have often chosen, strategically, to use techniques of typography animation, particularly suitable to rationalize the message without sacrificing creativity.

An example is the work done for Ansaldo, Crui, Diemme Filtration, and for the many projects of the MIUR, such as the launch of the “National Digital School Plan” and the format Innovative Schools

To present projects of great interest and scope it is necessary to opt for other emotional expedients and involvement in order to arouse interest and transfer wonder. Of the many works carried out, particularly exemplifying is the “bodymapping” built to present the participation of Italy at Expo Dubai 2020 in which, in a completely dark room, a series of visual stimuli were projected, simultaneously on the bodies of 6 people.

FILM AND DOCUFICTION: OUR JOURNEY THROUGH DIFFERENT MEDIA AND GENRES

We have a lot of fun making movies. We have lived very different experiences among them, also for the very nature of the productions that, in each of the single cases, have acquitted to specific narrative instances. Different aesthetic results were achieved for all of them , in any case satisfactory.

We flew between England and Lebanon for Rasha’s Dream: a docufiction that tells the story of a Lebanese girl who, escaped from Beirut during the war, then decides to return to rebuild her origins. We have organized a collaborative writing workshop for Intesa Sanpaolo employees in order to bring out and then stage some internal dynamics of work, embracing locations throughout the peninsula. The result is a medium-sized film that tells a cross-section of stories and situations intertwined around professional dynamics typical of the banking world with some of the employees of the bank flanked by professional actors. Of a completely different genre is the short film I remember when that happened, set in the dystopian and extreme future in which the climate issue is metaphorically addressed.

We like to expand the possibilities of storytelling and create experiences always different. This is also why we have enriched the technology at our disposal with equipment for the production of video 360, a media whose use lends to surprisingly varied applications, including virtual exhibitions, marketing communication, and social content.

In this sense, an example of the creative application of a 360-strong environment is the work done for the Bonfiglioli group during the construction of a new production site. For several months we have taken daily photographs of the building and made a 360° Timelapse. to represent the architectural evolution from the laying of the foundation stone to the inauguration.

As proof of the versatility of this medium, we mention the creative experience created for WalkAndLearn, our webapp that tells the artistic heritage of our peninsula as a large spread-museum. In this case, the technique 360° was used to create videoguides and offer the opportunity to experience a virtual tour in which historical characters, played by actors in costume, are the exceptional narrators of the stories related to the places visited. A new way to explore and give an opportunity to tell and visit even the less known places.
